New to the world
Have you ever wanted to try a completely different type of massage.
One that completely relaxes the mind and body.
The new system developed by leading Internationally trained Skin and Beauty therapist Susanne Fraser, is turning heads and making clients ooh and aah when they have experienced this new massage.
I am first taken into a dimly lit room where my massage therapist ask's me about my concerns, before my massage. I have already filled in my client card, asking me questions like: preferred room temperature, preferred music whilst my massage is in progress, type of pressure I prefer, health concerns, and if I take any medication and nutritional supplements.
The therapist talks me through the procedure which she describes as quiet different than most other massages.
She explains that she will be doing a Magnesium Chloride Massage (MgC12) using the new transdermal tool, to help iron out sore muscles and infuse the magnesium oil followed by a swedish massage with aromatic oils to help balance and relax me.
The 1/2 massage will be taken up with 1/2 rolling and 1/2 hand massage.
She starts with me laying on my stomach, and starts gently spraying on the Magnesium oil for better penetration, she explains that it does not feel like a oil, in fact Magnesium Chloride is a brine. So it will not feel oily and sticky. She then gently massages this in and covers me. Explaining that she wants the Magnesium to start penetrating to allow the muscles to relax - as Magnesium is known to be great for aches and pains and muscle cramps. She then starts this rhythmic point pressure massage of my scalp, back of my neck and shoulders asking me to just deep breath and relax. After what seems like about 5 mins, I am already in a dream state she then removes the towel and starts with the magic MgC12 Transdermal Roller, Im in heaven. This gentle but deep massage starts ironing out all my aches and pains and I feel like Im floating. My body starts to be so relaxed I cannot believe, back and forth in little rolls then long rolls I feel my self nodding off. After about 15mins, she then is doing long relaxing and soothing strokes with massage oil (the aromatic oils she blended prior to my massage) that have a beautiful organic orange scent, She then kneads areas and has me purring like a cat.
She then after around another 15 mins, uses the trans-dermal roller and does acupressure points to finish off the massage.
I can honestly say I have had a great massage. I didn't want the therapist to stop.
Slowly I get changed where she talks to me about nutrition and magnesium to be used at home, to complete the treatment.
She recommends that I soak my feet with Magnesium Chloride Flakes for 20 mins 3 x day any where any time in a bucket. Stressing that the water be not to hot, as I do not want the Magnesium to be a detox. She wants the magnesium to work into my system and help muscles, anxiety and stress.
Because I have been suffering back pain, she prescribes me concentrated MgC12 with a spray bottle to spray liberally on sore areas for pain relief.
1-2 x day. She says if it stings to simply add a little purified water as it is a salt and my magnesium levels could be low.
I take my products and my relaxed body home, and I'm to call her in a few days to discuss how I'm feeling.
Well if I am feeling any way like I do now, I wont only be telling her I feel great, Ill be telling others.
To next foot soak.
See you soon
