The new age of technology is causing stress to people.
Anxiety and depression have been caused by the constant activity of using computers, mobile devices and games.
The stimulation to the brain, sends off continual impulses racing the brain in so many ways, that at times it feels overwhelmed.
We know that to much of anything is normally not a good thing, but people still try to text message and answer phones whilst driving. Stop it, it kills.
We should be trying to check emails only twice a day.
I know its difficult, and sometimes impossible......... but when you practice it becomes normal.
Its ok not to answer your Facebook messages straight away.
You don't need to check pinterest and Instagram 30 x a day. Honestly we all do it.
So when we recognize we have to slow down and not check our devices all the time life will be easier.
Take time to simply not answer the phone after 9pm.
Don't answer emails after 7pm
Don't check Facebook in the middle of Family time at night.
Sit and talk to each other without a phone. Yes its difficult but you can do it.
A rule I live by is: all technology needs to be off by 9pm. The electromagnetic fields mess with the pineal gland in that brain that produces melatonin, the hormone responsible for sleep.
Another idea: Switch your phone to airplane mode for an hour or two during the day. This will give you some to rejuvenate and allow you get needed down time.
